JOIN OUR ORGANIZATION..... LESTA is an organization of science teachers dedicated to promoting and advancing earth science education in Louisiana. We welcome all individuals interested in earth science to join our organization. Membership Form	Welcome ... The Louisiana Earth Science Teachers Association (LESTA) was founded in 1988 to advance science education by encouraging and supporting the teaching of earth sciences at all levels. Our members include K-12 teachers, college and university instructors, students, and others interested in the earth sciences. LESTA serves as a forum and resource for earth science teachers at all levels across the state by: § promoting earth science courses at the all levels. § providing current information on local, state and national earth science activities. § keeping teachers informed of science news, opportunities and resources via the newsletter and website.
